What to Know Before Listening to a UFO Podcast

The most important thing to remember is that not all UFO and alternative topic podcasts are created equally.

If you’re listening for fun and entertainment, there’s no need to be that discerning. Find a podcast that suits your taste and enjoy.

However, if you’re looking to learn about the topic from a particular point of view, you’ll need to sort through various shows before finding the one that’s best for you. Ask yourself, am I looking for a podcast that:

  • Offers only factual information and avoids theorizing?
  • Includes first-hand encounters and sightings?
  • Is open to questioning the origins of humankind?
  • Is skeptical of the existence of life on other planets or in other galaxies?
  • Takes a more spiritual and/or religious approach to the topic?
  • Includes only government or non-government sources of information?

These are just a few things to consider when looking for a UFO podcast that works for you. Many assume that shows exploring alien life or unidentified flying object sightings will focus on people claiming to have firsthand experiences, but nowadays, that’s far from the case. Many believe we’re getting closer and closer to disclosure, and the podcast world illustrates this. It’s possible to find reputable sources speaking candidly about UFOs and aliens in various formats.

One of the most important things you can do with UFO podcasts and any podcast is to look into the host(s) and their background. Knowing the host’s perspective and if there is any agenda behind the podcast can help you make the most informed decisions about the information you hear.
